Branwen

Author Biography

Branwen, the name is ancient, the spirit is as wise, and the mystique foreshadows the stories she will be making available for our future pleasure. Like her Welsh namesake before her, Branwen brings the Celtic love of mystery to her work, a ribald sense of wit and humor laced with sometimes acerbic and oftentimes simply astute observations that leave one reeling in shock at the brazen candor we've all come to know and love about the Celts. Harboring a fierce and determined spirit, Branwen makes you laugh, and has a knack for turning a phrase with wicked humor that just gets you smiling at the small things, even as she tackles and entertains larger issues.

"On the surface, Art is a window into someone's mind, or an expression of some sort of message. But when it inspires it becomes a doorway to whole new realm, a new way of looking at and living life."

The Messenger has been adopted as Branwen’s Creative Artist totem, and a powerful one it is, with a rich and often misunderstood and even maligned history. But the story of how Branwen became, is one of those natural and organic stories that occur between man and nature; the sort that are retold and become a part of the legends and myths surrounding powerful storytellers with the gift to deliver the things we need to hear or read of.
