Contribute
We are always looking for capable, competent, reliable writers to contribute to our monthly publications in areas of interest. Do check the masthead. We are interested in contributions that contribute to the knowledge and experience of Creative Artists, and that introduce us to their work. Take a good look through the content we already have online to get an idea for what we’re covering, style and subject matter.
“We entertain entertainers and creators”
We’re always looking for illustrators, cartoonists, multimedia artists, and others who want to poke fun at the world of art & entertainment, and who also want to share their knowledge and journey, but we have a proviso, you must be able to write, or have a strong desire to develop your writing skills. Why? Because we need not only illustrations and visual art, but also written material about your craft and the visual arts that will help others create. A writer who has a strong interest in the visual arts may fit the bill.
“Our commitment to payment”
Contributors are ideally interested in exploring the industry, doing the research into the industry which will help them move ahead in their own field and artistic discipline. You’ll be contacting other Creative Artists learning about them and how they work, making valuable, interesting contacts that can help you in our own career and finding out more about your chosen craft.
“Contributors, so we stay off breadlines, must meet dreadlines!”
Our ideal contributors:
- Are reliable
- Meet dreadlines
- Maintain communication (especially on anything which affects our dreadlines)
- Ask for help when they need it
- Submit their material according to our guidelines
- Love writing

- Have their own website
- Have or are developing their own creative products
- Have a good sense of humor (irreverence is important, but not necessary)

Don’t want to join our staff? That’s fine. Submissions that comply with our Submission Guidelines will be accepted and published - just make sure you download and read the guidelines before sending your work to editor@freearticulator.com.

The Chicken and the Egg Thing—Our Commitment to Payment
At the Free Articulator we are keenly aware that great content is what keeps readers reading. We know that content brings readers who become subscribers and that it is subscribers (numbers of) that will put our publication in the position of being able to offer advertisers a place to reach our readers and offer them good quality products and services. Therefore we are committed to sharing revenue with our steady and loyal contributors. The way the chicken and egg thing works here though, is the content and subscribers come first. Once we’ve got that nailed and our subscribers are loyal and steady readers then we fully intend to take this to the next level of professionalism—fully paid positions. We just need your help to get there. So if you think you got the goods, contact us here.
“… we are committed to sharing revenue with
our steady and loyal contributors.”

After this 60 day period, all rights revert back to you. You may request we remove a story any time after the initial 60 days of publication.
