by Allforart News Department

Cornucopia by Pearson Scott ForesmanYesterday was one of those cornucopia days at Allforart. A day where so much happens it seems as if a week just passed within the last 24 hours.

These are the sort of abundant days that we are working towards making happen every day, for at Allforart we think life and living should be filled with an abundance of good - productive and constructive - life-affirming things and events. But also because we like the notion that the worthy things artists wish for in their careers and life is what we help them achieve in ways small and large.

That’s what the cornucopia, the Horn of Plenty is all about. Boy, we have got plenty going on at Allforart!

Truly the 21st of December 2007 reflected the Creative Season we are enjoying, and creating daily. Here’s what happened, and a preview of what’s coming:

Midnight.Haulkerton complete Violence of the Soul title track

Midnight.Haulkerton LogoThe song has been demoed and it is a powerful title track that showcases Falconer’s long-line phrasing skill. How he manages to phrase the lines NDK Creative Artist’s lyric challenges him with, is truly a marvel. Greg’s axework sears across the tapestry of the song and decks the halls of intellect with the sort of soar that is only matched by Joel’s anguished and tormented delivery. Vocals which wind up from a seductive beginning to become an outraged cry of protest to end the internal violence.

NDK Creative Artist, who authored the lyric described some of the backing vocals - “…delivered as if violence is sugar sweet candy coated.”

Joel and Greg will be recording a new studio version of Whatever It Takes, an anthem for urgency in the ecological management of our planet, next.

Violence of the Soul will go into studio production in early 2008.

Free Articulator’s First Featured artist coming soon

LSBannerThe Free Articulator’s first featured creator is a talented Ukrainian Digital Artist, and our extensive feature of this artist and her work will be published here mid-January.

Features are lined up for publication throughout 2008. “It takes time and this first one has taken longer than usual, but that’s to be expected with the First. It’s a great Feature that offers some excellent insight into a talented visual artist and how she works,” says Editor-in-Chief, Joel Falconer.

The Free Articulator is lining up more Features for publication and are currently considering art & entertainment industry Movers & Shakers we want to introduce you to.

“Over the last month we have managed to finish up the reviews of all the artworks selected for review, and these are now on track for publication. We’re now finalizing the interview that accompanies the Feature,” said Falconer.

In the next few months we will be introducing you to photographers, historical novelists, more Digital Artists, Illustrators, Fine Artists, Poets, Songwriters, and others we believe offer unique insights and some incredible works worthy of our (and your) attention and support.

We’ll let you know who our Featured Artist is on the 1st of January 2008. She’s gorgeous, and talented and, quite frankly, brilliant. But that’s our opinion, we look forward to yours.

TMT….Isn’t that something to do with too much time?

For one who actually knows that’s a terrible jest! TMT…is probably something like Tantalizing Most Thespians. Or Terrifically Mean Tease, except I would never use an adverb. (chuckle)

    TMT…Teased Men Tortured?

    Tortilla Minced Thin?

Got something to say?
